Aeron Chair Options

The Aeron chair comes in two configurations - the basic Aeron chair and the fully loaded highly adjustable Aeron chair. While both chairs are ergonomically advanced, the highly adjustable model is the top of the line and offers more features than the basic chair.

Basic Aeron Chair

The basic Aeron Chair comes with Tilt Option I (a single-stage pneumatic and standard tilt). This tightens or loosens the resistance of the chair when leaning back. You can set the tension for the recline with the adjustment knob on the lower right side of the chair; however, there is no lock mechanism. The Basic Aeron Chair does not come with a lumbar support, but many buyers find that the Pellicle material alone provides adequate support; an adjustable lumbar pad may be ordered at an additional fee. This adjustable lumbar pillow provides support to the lower back. Please note: this model has fixed arms. All other Aeron Chair options, including leather arms and soft casters, are available.

Highly Adjustable Aeron Chair

The fully loaded highly adjustable Aeron Chair comes with Tilt Option III (a single-stage pneumatic, tilt limiter & seat angle adjuster), Adjustable Vinyl Arm Rests which pivot inward and outward and adjust vertically, Adjustable Lumbar Support & 2.5" All Purpose Casters, and your choice of pellicle upholstery. These features allow you to recline your chair, set the tension for the recline, engage or lock the tilt mechanism, drop the seat into a forward tilt mode for intensive keyboarding and slide the lumbar support to where your back needs the most support.
